Bright staged living room

How to Prep a Home for a Photo Shoot

The best camera in the world can’t hide a cluttered countertop. The listings that photograph beautifully are almost always the ones where the seller spent twenty focused minutes preparing each room. Here’s the checklist we send before every shoot.

Kitchens and bathrooms first

Clear counters completely — yes, even the coffee maker. Hide sponges, soaps, and towels that aren’t staged. In bathrooms, close toilet lids and pull shower curtains open to show the space.

Light is everything

Turn on every light in the house, replace burnt-out bulbs, and open all blinds unless there’s an unflattering view. We’ll handle the rest — detail shots of staged items and features are included in every package.
